ERIC FRASER, MUSIC THERAPIST FOR RTC, HONORED AS A FULBRIGHT SCHOLAR

Eric Fraser, a music therapist from Brooklyn who conducts music therapy sessions with the youth in the RTC, has been honored as Fulbright Scholar to develop a music therapy program at a school for developmentally disabled children in Kolkata, India. His project proposal detailed how Indian classical music can be used as a therapeutic tool. Fraser, who has been practicing music therapy at Little Flower’s Wading River campus since June 2009, has successfully incorporated this style of music to calm agitated children.
