Grace G. Lo Grande, LMSW-MPA, Director

GLGGrace G. Lo Grande, LMSW, MPA, joined the Little Flower Board in June 2016.  She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from Hunter College and a Master’s Degree in Social Services from Fordham University.  She was awarded a Master’s Degree of Public Administration from New York University Wagner School of Public Administration.

Grace worked in the Child Welfare field for 50 years before retiring in 2015.  Her career began at the New York Foundling Hospital where she remained for 30 years and actively engaged in developing innovative and responsive services for children and their families.  As Deputy Director, her responsibilities included administration of service provision in New York City and Puerto Rico. She then spent 20 years at Little Flower as Assistant Executive Director, then Executive Director.  She was responsible for the overall administration, fiscal viability and effectiveness of services and was committed to the development of the agency’s management team to assure that Little Flower provided quality, responsive and effective services.

Grace is an active member of her church choir and teaching religious education to the youngest members of the congregation.
