It takes a special person to open their heart an home to a child or teen in need.  It takes courage, hard work, and love.  It takes someone like you.

Children and teens in New York City and Long Island need caring foster homes while they are separated from their parents.

Do you think you can help?

Maybe you did not know that....

• Foster parents receive tax free funds every two weeks to cover living costs
• Foster parents receive training that also helps them raise their own children
• Foster parents are not responsible for a foster child's medical expenses
• Foster children can share bedrooms with your own children
• Foster parents work schedules can be accommodated
• Foster parents can adopt when children cannot be returned to their families
• Foster parents can be married or single
