After finishing his Master’s Degree at Hunter School of Social Work, Akira diversified his experience by moving into supervising an OASAS Outpatient Clinic at Bronx Lebanon Hospital.
Feeling the need to get back into his Case Management roots Akira assisted with the transition to Health Homes as the Director of Care Coordination and Children’s ICM program at the Institute for Community Living. Keeping with Care Management Akira joined Brightpoint Health, one of NYC’s largest Adult Health Home programs and oversaw the programs migration to their current Electronic Medical Record.
