Mary E, Knox joined Little Flower in June 2019 as the Senior VP responsible for managing all services for individuals with developmental disabilities. Mary is a career OPWDD professional with a vast array of knowledge.
Mary has worked in this field since 1991. Prior to assuming her role at Little Flower, Mary was the Chief Operating Officer at Heaven’s Hands Community Services (HHCS) a provider of services and supports to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities of all ages and their families in NYC. Before HHCS, Mary started her career at YAI and moved up the ranks to hold several leadership positions in both YAI’s Residential and Day Services departments. After earning her Master’s degree, Mary also worked as a Mental Health Clinician in YAI’s Center for Specialty Therapy. Mary is an adjunct Professor at LIU Brooklyn’s School of Social Work.
Mary earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Stony Brook University, Hunter College School of Social Work. She is the proud mother of 3 sons.
