April Showers Bring Little Flowers

Calling All Front Line Superheroes

Are you a flower power champion?

Little Flower, like other human services providers, offers critical 24/7 programs and services to improve the well-being of children, families, and individuals with developmental disabilities. During the COVID-19 pandemic, our programs and services simply cannot close, they are essential.

Our essential workers, staff on the front lines, are exhibiting courage and commitment to our residents and families by showing up every day, caring for those unable to care for themselves.

We want to show our collective gratitude and appreciation for their tireless and dedicated work and encourage our community to join us in recognizing the heroic efforts of the entire human services community.

We also want to bring awareness to our continued programmatic needs that will continue long after the pandemic ends. To ensure continuity, we need your support now. We need donations to help us ensure access to technology for our families, investments in mental health supports, personal protective equipment, and so much more.

Help us transform April showers into Little Flowers:

  • Tell us about your heroism so we can celebrate you.  If you’re on the front line at a residential treatment center, group residences for people with developmental disabilities, or working to keep families connected, we want to hear from you!  Those who share will receive a special note of thanks from the award-winning actress and best-selling author, Susan Lucci, as a small token of appreciation!

  • Share words of encouragement and appreciation for Little Flower’s front line workers and all human services providers that we will share with our local heroes so they know they have your support.

  • Donate to help Little Flower continue our work beyond COVID-19 and ensure our families and residents have what they need to reach their best potential.

  • Share this page with friends and family so they can join our campaign to recognize and support our local heroes.

The populations we serve face incredible challenges and those who serve them and provide for their needs are not only called to meet those challenges but also are faithfully and lovingly responding in very challenging times.
