Come together Monday, March 25th on the steps of City Hall at 9 AM to show elected officials our support for ensuring fair futures for young people when they age out of foster care.
Little Flower proudly supports Fair Futures, a coalition of child welfare agencies, non-profits, foundations, advocates and young adults working to ensure we fulfill our promise to New York City’s foster youth. We are calling on the City and State to make an annual investment beginning in the FY 2020 budget to provide foster youth with the support they need to be successful adults.
The more people in attendance, the stronger the visual message that we are a far-reaching coalition of 80+ organizations acting in solidarity with the thousands of NYC foster youth in need.
Little Flower Children and Family Services of New York is pleased to announce that we have moved into our NYC Flagship office at the old Pfizer building in Brooklyn. In celebration of our new home, we are hosting a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting on Thursday, April 11, 2019 from 3pm-6pm.
This move brings together staff from the Jamaica, Queens office and from two locations in Downtown Brooklyn. The brand new space houses the foster care program with various family focused visiting rooms; the program for individuals with developmental disabilities; part of the Health Homes team; and the medical and mental health team, equipped with medical exam rooms as well as administrative and fundraising departments.
Little Flower transforms caring into action by delivering programs and services that improve the lives of children, families in need, and individuals with developmental disabilities in NYC and on Long Island.
Our staff of over 600 provide caring and professional services to nearly 2,000 people every year — from foster care and adoption to full-time residential treatment and medical/mental health services.
We are proud to be serving the marginalized in our communities for 90 years.
Your financial support allows Little Flower to invest in innovative privately-funded programming that addresses emerging social issues and enables those in our care to see new possibilities.
Join us for breakfast, a round of golf with a shotgun start, followed by a cocktail hour, elegant buffet dinner, and evening program.
Join us as we welcome and cheer on hundreds of bikers of the Long Island Harley Owners Group in their 33rd Annual Toy Run to Little Flower.
