Adults with Developmental Disabilities
For more than 40 years, Little Flower has been committed to providing quality services and treating individuals with respect and dignity. We are proud to be one of the first agencies to offer responsive and compassionate community living alternatives to state-run institutions.
Each person served is supported to maximize their full potential for self-care, social, emotional, and physical development. Individuals receive person-centered services supported by a dedicated team of direct support professionals, clinicians and administrators. Little Flower offers services to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in Brooklyn, Queens and on Long Island.
Family Care Programs
A Family Care home provides an extended, supportive family for an adult with developmental disabilities, helping them to develop meaningful relationships and become more active members of their community.
Family Care homes ensure that the individuals served have the help they need to be safe and active. Providers can be single or married and can own or rent their home.
Little Flower provides Family Care services to more than 60 individuals in Long Island and the New York City boroughs. Within the Family Care homes, individuals live with families who are certified by New York State and are supervised and monitored by Little Flower.
