Foster Care

It takes a special person to provide the time, resources, energy and love that go into nurturing a child or youth separated from their family – all the while working to reunify the child with their family. Little Flower is committed to identifying loving, secure kinship and foster parents who are able to nurture children and youth and help them thrive.
The organization provides training for foster parents before, during and after a child is placed in their home. Foster parents have access to a variety of services and resources needed to create a nurturing home for the youth in their care.
Little Flower’s ultimate goal is family reunification. When that cannot happen, Little Flower staff work to identify a kin caregiver who can permanently care for the child. When this is not possible, staff identify a foster family who is able to become forever family.
