Become A College Mentor

For many children, going away to college is the first step in a big adventure, learning what life will bring when they’re out on their own as adults. But what if you don’t have a supportive family network to lean on – to help you buy supplies for your dorm room, to be a comforting voice on the phone they can talk to, or just receive thinking-of-you notes in the mail?

This is the experience of many foster youth who attend college. Already a daunting experience, having a support system can be the difference between making it through college and not.

College mentors are matched with our youth and are there for them throughout their college experience. As a college mentor, you’ll get to know your mentee and learn about their experience and their needs, and be their support for the next four years.

You can help these young people on the road to success. Be a mentor. Change a life!
